Programming the CRT Electro UV

Recently I wanted to add some repeaters to my CRT Electro UV. It is quite a cumbersome procedure.

Changing settings

  1. Enter the menu with Fun
  2. Use V/M and Main as up and down keys to browse through the menu
  3. When you reach the setting, use Mon to enter the setting
  4. Now you can use Up and Down to set the value
  5. When all settings have been set correctly, use Fun to go back to the main screen

Storing the preset

  1. On the mic press A/Fun and then the UP key on the mic
  2. This puts you in "store" mode
  3. Use Up and Down on the mic to select the memory bank you want to store
  4. Now long press */Mon on the mic to store the preset in the memory bank

Deleting a preset

  1. Press A/Func on the mic and then the DOWN key on the mic
  2. This puts you in "delete" mode
  3. Use Up and Down to select the correct memory bank to delete
  4. Long press #/LAM to delete the entry

Setting repeater shift

Through the menu you can set the repeater offset. However, there is no option to set the repeater shift (+, -, off) through the menu. You have to use A/Fun + 9/Rpt to cycle through +, -, and off.

Don't forget to store the preset again after you changed the shift.
